2021 Malbec, Allegretto Vineyard

Our small case production and sought-after wine has found a perfect home at our estate vineyard and can be proudly seen as you drive up to Allegretto Resort. With only 250 cases produced, the 2021 release is highly anticipated by one and all. Malbec is most often associated with the country of Argentina where the better wines are grown at higher elevations, we find this holds true as our home vineyard is at 1,200 ft above sea level. The resulting wine can absolutely be described as classic Malbec, with its structure, grip, bold flavors and above all, the hallmark juicy vibrancy associated with the grapes' naturally high fruit acidity. As is tradition, we follow the classic guidelines whereby high quality Malbec is judiciously influenced by the barrel aging regime. Aged in 50% of new French and American oak, the natural grape characteristics, such as blueberry, blackberry and cocoa. The wine flows over the pallet with all the refreshing flavors of mixed berry compote, black raspberry, and aromatic allspice. Pair this coveted wine with a ribe eye steak or Malbec loves steaks of all kinds, and will also happily entertain the portobello variety.
